Next Steps

We are very pleased with the feedback we got from the contestants that have already played a SPOKED game. It's been a lot of fun for us to see their excitement and desire to play again. We can also see how the bike joy definitely has a potential to spread, as people are asking to play SPOKED in multiple cities!

We are very excited about the possibility to conquer the world with the joy of biking. However, there are a few things on the to do list before we take SPOKED to other cities:

• Create a business plan to make a way for SPOKED to live on
• Build an onboarding process that requires less manual work for us
• Build a user admin panel for a game initiator (game host)
• Build a way to auto-generate art work in the end
• Allow for easy sharing on Twitter/Facebook/etc
• Compatibility with iPad and smartphones
• Make our own SPOKED tracking app

We plan to continue hosting games ourselves, and to allow other people to host games both in NYC, and in other major cities. We feel we've found a core game model that works, and that can be further developed in different directions; scavenger hunts, neighborhood explorations and art competitions, to name a few. SPOKED could also be used as a continuous tracking tool for avid bikers. Finally, there are different groups SPOKED could cater to; workplaces, groups of friends, schools, gyms, bike share users, tourists and attendees of special events.

There's nothing we would rather do, than help more people to get on their bikes, and encourage cities to become more bike-friendly environments. If you are on the same mission, please get in touch with us!
